At NJCPT, we are expanding our commitment to health and recovery by introducing an education-based physical therapy program for pets. This program provides Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) and rehabilitation education for pets, primarily dogs, with the possibility of including cats if they are kept in a carrier. To maximize results, our experts will then guide pet owners in applying effective rehabilitation techniques to improve their pet’s mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being.
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) stimulates cellular healing and reduces inflammation, helping pets recover from injuries and chronic conditions. Manual therapy, including stretching and exercise instruction, teaches pet owners how to safely mobilize their pets to improve function and comfort. Ultrasound therapy, which may be included in the future, could further support tissue healing and circulation.
Stimulates cellular healing and reduces inflammation, promoting recovery from injuries, chronic pain, and
mobility issues.
Pet owners receive hands-on one-on-one instruction in safe stretching and mobility exercises to improve their pet’s function and comfort.
Experts provide tailored guidance, empowering pet owners to confidently continue therapy at home for long-term results.
To ensure a professional and comfortable clinic experience, pets are brought directly to a designated treatment area, separate from human patients. IQ Air Filtration systems are utilized near the pet therapy space to minimize allergens and maintain a clean environment. Each participating office will have at least one designated provider and one support person to oversee and assist with the program.
NJCPT provides expert-guided PEMF therapy for pets to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and support overall well-being. Schedule a consultation today if you want to learn how PEMF therapy and guided rehabilitation can benefit your pet! Click here to learn more about our other Cutting-Edge Treatments.
