Nutritional Counseling

What’s this?

Most people know it’s important to eat healthfully, but they aren’t sure how to actually do it. We all have busy lives, we juggle work and family, and we all have different tastes and food preferences. A Registered Dietitian can create a customized program just for you, to help make good nutrition easy, delicious, and fun to fit into your day.

Who can benefit from Nutritional Counseling?

  • People who want to have more energy or become more active
  • People who are on a weight loss journey or who would like to start one
  • Anyone fighting a health concern such as diabetes, digestive difficulties, heart disease, kidney disease, or celiac disease
  • Athletes or weekend warriors who want to improve sport performance
  • People who want to provide nutritious options for their children and families
  • Anybody who feels uncertain about how to make healthy eating work with their tastes and preferences
  • People battling an eating disorder like anorexia, bulimia, food addiction, or other similar conditions, who need compassion as well as expertise

What should I expect?

Meet Dayle! She’s our licensed and registered Dietitian and Nutritionist with a passion for changing lives with nutritious food. Dayle’s daily inspiration is her mom, who is a Stage IV Ovarian Cancer survivor. During her mom’s chemo treatment, Dayle fought for her by jumping headlong into research and preparing cancer-fighting foods to help alleviate her mom’s overwhelming nausea and exhaustion. Today, Mom is cancer-free and Dayle has turned her passion into a career.

Through her research, personal experience both with her mom and as a track and cross country athlete, her clients’ results, and her degree in Food and Nutrition from the University of Alabama, Dayle knows that in addition to improving that number on the scale, healthy eating can also prevent and manage a wide range of physical conditions and diseases… and can change your whole life.

In your nutrition counseling session, Dayle will personally sit down with you one-on-one, ask you questions about your current diet and lifestyle, listen to your goals, and craft a nutrition plan just for you. Dayle attributes much of her own health and success to how she fuels her body — and she wants to help you do it too!
