Heather excels at treating both neurological and orthopedic patients of all ages, and is one of the top 1% of all practitioners in the state who has achieved both a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Board Certified Specialist distinction in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. In addition to her athletic recognition as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), she is working toward her Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification. Heather loves the exciting challenge of creating a personalized, individualized experience for each patient who walks through our doors, and is ready to employ her unique ability to think “outside the box” to achieve superior results! Along with being Clinic Manager for the Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday team, she has also achieved recognition as an Executive in our company.
Having graduated at the top of her class with high honors from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Heather established extensive experience in both orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation settings. During this time, she developed a particular interest in complementary and alternative medicine and has contributed to a number of publications regarding the effects of yoga on physical rehabilitation. Most recently, in the ”Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity” textbook, Dr. LaManno co-authored a chapter called “The Use of Yoga Therapy in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation.”
Heather is a lifelong resident of Ringwood who loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors. When she’s not hiking the beautiful forests of New Jersey with her husband Vinnie, daughter Emma, and puppy Gracie, Heather is usually planning their next big trip. An avid hiker and nature enthusiast, she has traveled extensively throughout the world, from the jungles of Belize to the mountains of Europe and the coastlines of Honduras. Closer to home, Heather also enjoys mini-adventures with Emma. She enjoys taking her to the aquarium, reading storybooks, spending time outdoors on long walks, and chasing her around the house, of course! Heather and Emma are always in search of the next destination, and would love to hear your ideas on where to go next!
